Last Giveaways

Busy Bee
I want to thank all of you for being such Busy Bees.
Almost all the aprons are done and on their way. I have heard from most of you and know that there are a couple of unavoidable delays but the aprons are headed toward their destinations. So if you haven't got it yet, watch for your postman and let me and your partner know when you get them. :o)
I have two more thank you gifts to send out to you swappers. Every swapper gets a chance at these but you can up your chances by posting.
Giveaway number one is....
Mary Kay
It is a luscious body lotion in the fragrance of Exotic Passion fruit from Mary Kay. Our friendly Mary Kay dealer is miss Ana L.'s mom. You can visit her Mary Kay site and check out other fabulous products and if you buy from her you are helping along another stay-at-home mom. Rebecca has a marvelous blog, Marvelous Pigs in Satin, where she posts crazy stories about her children and some pretty wicked NON-diet recipes for days when you just need some comfort food. (she also manages to stay pretty skinny too.)
The other prize I have for you is from one of our fellow swappers, and my BFF, Vea M.
Coaster set
We are getting this lovely quilted coaster set from Vea. It is so lovely and so well made.
You can see more of her creations at her newly opened Etsy Store Prairie Village. Vea is also a Stay-at-Home mom that has fabulous sewing, painting, quilting, designing and cooking skills. She has also recently stared up a new blog called...
.... where she posts great money saving tips and recipes. She has raised 8 children for very little money and is sharing her fabulous secrets which we can all use right now. Go check out her new blog and her Etsy shop and leave some great blog love her way. She is off this weekend helping her daughter and daughter-in-law man (or woman) a booth at the Norman Oklahoma Renaissance Festival. Them make gorgeous corset costumes. They can make you drop 2 dress sizes with a really good cinch of the strings. (I know I tried it!)

Thank You!!

The swap time is now officially up. All the beautiful aprons should be done, packaged and shipped on their way to their partners. Please check the sidebar for your name and your swap status. That is what I have in my records (minus any typo's I might have made). So if your have sent your apron and it doesn't say so, then you need to let me know and make sure I know.
I also need to know who has received their aprons as well. Here is where my job gets easy (you help me and send me your information) or it gets hard (I have to track you down, ferret and apron out of you and get one sent off to your partner). :o)

Ok enough of that. Let's find out who is the big time winner of the apron swap "Got my package off on time" giveaway. (oh yes and let Lucy know I did the above!)

Out of 45 swappers we have 30 aprons sent!!! That is really great actually. If you are one of the 15 I will be getting in touch with you real soon. :o)

Finish Line Giveaway

Ok ladies (and two boys),

We are down to the wire. You have one week to get your aprons made, packages filled and boxes shipped off to your partners.
Here are the rules for sending packages off.

Send your package between March 20th- 31st.

Send a clean, well made apron with some tea party goodies.

When you ship your package please let your partner know it is on the way (you have her email) and let ME know! I need to know when you ship it and need a tracking number if possible. Ladies this is just a little extra in shipping but makes a huge difference. Insurance it fabulous too if you want that back up and isn't very expensive compared to the cost of replacing a package.

Post pictures of the packages your receive or send (only after your partner has it) in the swap flicker site.

Now for the fun.
For everyone that turns in their apron, sends me notice and a delivery confirmation number by March 31st at midnight Central time, will get an entry in a fabulous apron giveaway.

Well from
SpiceRak Designs at Etsy.

Here is her Bio:
My name is Kathy, and I love to create! I've enjoyed many hobbies, but I'm always creating something, and always sewing! Sewing aprons as gifts for family and friends soon evolved into SpiceRak Designs. With the loving support and hard work of my husband, and the creative advice of our 11 year old son, we make a great team! Our original designs are inspired by vintage aprons from the 40s and 50s, with a fresh modern twist! Each apron is handcrafted with time and care, to ensure years of apron enjoyment! We love what we do, and hope you will love it, too!

Go check out her shop and leave her some Fabulous Sassy Apron Swap Love and mark her as a fave! (Why wouldn't you?!?) :o)
